  5. Serve with toasted bread as best accompaniment. Add a fruit to it for a balanced meal.

I like to prepare a simple red pepper flakes infused olive oil sauce and pour this over the poached eggs with garlic yoghurt, just before serving. The delicious heat from the red pepper flakes complements the dish beautifully. Lift each egg out with a slotted spoon and set aside on kitchen paper. If I hadn't eaten the Turkish eggs at Peter Gordon's restaurant, The Providores, I most certainly wouldn't be tempted by the idea of poached eggs on Greek yogurt.
